The batting will probably remain the same. Elgar did take a knock to the hand, but it doesn't appear to be have been too serious.

Hope Shamsi is fit, it will be good to see if he can step up. It is an important question for the future. I also hope they play Wiaan. Else I`m not really bothered about the team. You pretty much know what you gonna get at this stage.

Imran's selection is really peak PCB Too Many Cooks, in that he seems to have been selected partly for his slips catching but isn't actually fielding in slips.

Would be like picking Jack Russell but making Alec Stewart keep anyway.

Gonna say, why is Shamsi not in? Linde was incredibly unthreatening, and with Mulder in it shouldn't weaken the batting.

I think this test has peaked for SA and is now on the downslide. Must say it's annoying of Paistan to go the Mickey Mouse strategy and make the pitch much drier than it normally would be.

He at least looks iffy against Maharaj. Fawad is the concern as he doesn’t look troubled by anything.
