Excellent. Just Sri Lanka left.

Those who have already joined can post their 15-man squads when ready.

Can I pick Ujesh Ranchod for Zimbabwe? I need a second spinner in the squad and he's a better alternative to Stephen Peall.

I'm ok with that. Ranchod was still playing FC cricket for Mashonaland at the time, happy for the rules to be slightly bent for Zimbabwe as they will need as much help as they can get.

Cool. One more question - are the players going to perform based on their career records, or based on their stats as of 1995?

Looks good but it looks like the Indian selectors have selected one player too many.

Wow, can't believe I forgot Warne. That's an oversight on my behalf, he is definitely available. I like how you've kept the squad looking as it would have in '95 btw :-) Out of those 15, Boony is a P/T 'keeper.

Just so everyone is aware, there are no injures in this comp. So if people want to edit their squads they are more than welcome to. There is no need to have a backup 'keeper in your final 15.

Yeah I tried to maintain some kind of realism here. Probably not the strongest squad I could've picked but it's the one that made the most sense at the time.

I'll go with Langer for player #15, then.

ZCB Announce Squad for upcoming WTC!

ZCB are pleased to announce Zimbabwe's 15-man squad for the upcoming WTC

The squad features a mix of experience and youth, with a nod given to some top domestic performers.

Henry Olonga and Charlie Lock are the two uncapped names in the squad. Olonga has been picked after impressive performances in the Logan Cup, while Charlie Lock impressed the coaches and selectors in the recently concluded training camp. If selected, Olonga will be the first Black cricketer to play for Zimbabwe.

Ujesh Ranchod has returned to the squad as second spinner ahead of Stephen Peall, while Wayne James has been selected as the reserve wicketkeeper to Andy Flower, who will captain the side. Heath Streak has been named vice captain.
