I`m not talking the proper cricketing procedure... the run was not on. Nothing else to that really.

RvD made it halfway down the pitch, turned around dropped his bat and was still only about a meter short. If Elgar had stuck his head down and run he would’ve made it quite comfortably I think.

Admittedly direct hit would’ve been def out so it’s still a poor call.
