Starc could have easily had a couple of wickets had things went differently. He was creating a few half chances, but nothing went even vaugely close to hand. Last over was garbage, granted, but those saying he was crap all morning are simply wrong imo
The random edges he drew weren't really due to him bowling a good spell though. Like, at all. He bowled a couple of decent balls. He was lucky they edged those ones as much he was unlucky they didn't go to hand.

I generally sit somewhere in the middle on the Starc debate in that I think he's overrated by the Aussie genpop but overcriticised by CW/Warne, but he was not good today.

That ump's call on Pujara in the first session has set this game up. Been a great display from him.

The Rocky to Cummins' Drago.

No I personally hope we're 8 down with 13 to get and Australia bowl wide outside off until the last ball which Natarajan bops over Cummins head for six
Actually scrap that, I want India needing 13 off the last ball. Starc then bowls a neck high full toss that Pant creams over backward point for six, before slamming the attempted yorker last ball out of the park.

Indian genetics are JUST made for this format of the game, these grounds aren't big enough.

I don't really agree, but I can see you point.

Rousing the pathetic child was a major dick move though
