4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

Why on earth would they do that?
Keep up the run rate to have chance of win?

Teams dont seem to be anywhere near as funky with batting order changes nowadays.

Id send in thakur and washington before pant, and keep pujara to shut up shop should things turn bad. But i'd also lose my house at a casino, so...

They are absolutely insane if they increase their chances of losing this match in order to try and win it.

If there's a relatively risk-free opportunity in the last session - sure.
I agree. But the chance to squish Australia at fortress brisbane would be brilliant.

Don't think there are too many wait-and-watch type characters in that dressing room. Pretty sure they'll go for the W if the weather looks ok.

Looks decent for batting so far, though o/c how it plays after about 20 overs is gonna be more crucial.....

Roller doing its thing so far. Still a couple jagging around though. Happy with Gil still pushing away from his body though

Not sure if I've pressed something on my Fox coverage, but is anyone else stuck on that over-head camera?

It's a strange technique in that he doesn't push away from the body so much as plays alongside his body if that makes sense. Great hand-eye but bound to be found out in swinging conditions you'd think.

Defending to cover is never a great sign. Just ask Joe Burns v1.0 and Joe Burns v3.0.
