They actually decided to not bowl their actual bowlers (except Craig, if you count him as one) fairly early on because they thought it was pointless, and had a whinge about it while the game was still going. They abandoned the game early and everything.Didn't Hesson have a huge moan about that pitch after that game too?
IIRC that was the summer where Warner and Joe Burns made like three thousand runs against them, the latter of which probably tells you what you need to knowThey actually decided to not bowl their actual bowlers (except Craig, if you count him as one) fairly early on because they thought it was pointless, and had a whinge about it while the game was still going. I seem to remember Bracewell sending down an endless stream of long hops and other assorted friendly deliveries.bracewell was our best bowler that series just because he could stay in the corridor.
yea because that series reflects somewhat badly on india. took india until the 3rd test and the jammiest knock of all time to put away a side that looks a lot better on paper now than it was.
yes but he kept it to one side of the pitch, unlike the other *****.I seem to remember Bracewell sending down an endless stream of long hops and other assorted friendly deliveries.
Haha, almost forgotten, one if the greatest escapes by India after being 15-5 and 65-6 (effectively 90 odd )... i don't think the selectors ever forgave hamish bennett for breaking down and making martin almost a lone ranger.
What a ****. That's low from Warne. Two things about Warne:
- Needs to shut the **** up about Nattu and no balls. If he wants to bring attention to it, have the balls to say it blatantly - not this half-assed insinuated "Hmmm makes you wonder. Hmmm interesting" nonsense.
- He unironically called Lyon out at one stage for not taking wickets vs the Indian team. I know its a different team to the one that Warne faced, and I don't mind a pro (or non-pro) calling out a current player for lack of plans etc, it was just funny to hear.
