When Langer took over as coach, it was still true.

In theory yes but knowing where Khawaja and Pucovski should bat is another question. Khawaja realistically can't bat below 3 but moving Pucovski from opening for a 34 year old isn't really something Australia should be going for, given Warner's not exactly young either.

I'd open with Khawaja and bat Pucovski at 5.

Alternatively I'd play Maxwell.

Neither are any realistic chance of happening IMO. I think the best we can hope for is a Head recall.
