I've been super impressed by Thakur and Washington this test. Natranjan too. They all are playing as though this might be the only Test they will ever play, and it shows. Terrific effort, and I hope it's not the last we see of them.

Its so dumb. No test quality bat is going to miss out on flicks on leg stump. What makes some of the India batsmen like VVS, Sachin, Azhar etc was that they could do it off balls on middle and off.
