Mathews one of my favourite players, but he only has 10 tons even though hes got a great average (45) and nearly 6000 runs.
Is this because he spent a lot of his innings at no 5 or 6 and was not out a lot?
I dont recall him having a poor conversion rate.

Good start but this was always this the big wicket along with dickwella. Perera very hit and miss and thirumane not that good. These two very capable of batting a couple sessions at least
