By protesting how exactly?Same, he should be allowed to play cricket, and people should be allowed to protest or boycott any teams he's in.
Clearly it had quite a large effectWhat does protesting at a ****ing cricket game achieve? Sweet **** all. That particular night you just had a section of the crowd arguing amongst themselves. It was a **** show.
Sorry, just for clarity when I said the 21-year-old I meant the F1 driver not Kuggeleijn.it's the lack of remorse i think that gets people. he was not guilty in the eyes of the law, but he certainly wasn't innocent and sports stars get different treatment to the layman (you or i would be posting this from a small cell in his place). i want the justice system to be rehabilitative where possible so im not one for holding things over people forever but there's no doubt kuggeleijn needs to regain a lot of credit with nz. a simple "i was a terrible bloke" would be a start, but we haven't got one.
i suspect nzc firmly control everything he says to media and probably told him any line deviating from the "im just looking to enjoy my cricket" that he says all the time gets him fired forever.
Yes, it is. And sporting industries need to (and are) address the issues that lie with young, testosterone filled men with a lot of money and not much intelligence who get on the drink (and even without it) and think women should be at their beck and call. It's a major issue. Some of the things that have gone on with some of the most seemingly upstanding sportsmen in our country would make people's skin crawl.Same, he should be allowed to play cricket, and people should be allowed to protest or boycott any teams he's in.
That's why an effort to expose and call out all this stuff is important, it's just a huge open secret that no one is willing to talk about, not just sports either.
I dunno, what did it achieve when the Springboks toured during apartheid? What does protesting at a ****ing cricket game achieve? Sweet **** all. That particular night you just had a section of the crowd arguing amongst themselves. It was a **** show.
Bad for us really as the draw does give them some points. Australia winning the last two games would've left India having to whitewash England. Now they may just need to win by 3 matches or soHow does India's draw today affect things? I understood they needed a lot of wins so good for us?
Why you reckon rain is forecast?england have atg james anderson and loads of world class players, im sure they won't go down 4-0 in india guys.
no i think bumrah's english qualification will finally come throughWhy you reckon rain is forecast?
India still need 4-0 against England to advance - I redid the numbers in excel (yeah, I know) and NZ will remain 0.0056 pct points ahead of them if the the Australia series ends 2-1 to Aus and the India series ends 3-0.Bad for us really as the draw does give them some points.
