Yeah that and Ashwin not being quite on colour, more than the pitch, are the big differences between this vs Melbourne so far. The batsmen know they can sit a bit on Bumrah and Jadeja and cash in against those two.

when did a no-ball ever affect anyone's running?
Plenty of times, more so in a limited overs chase context I would think. You'll see blokes take on the field to get back for two, or take on an evil quick single if they're trying to farm strike late in an over. Not much comfort if they're run out doing it only to find there was no ball which isn't called til you're walking off the park.
