you can still be run out off a no-ball, so i don't see how one will have a bearing on the other? What's going to be the talk when someone at international level is inevitably run out taking a run which they would never have taken off a no ball which isn't called til after their dismissal?
No it's proof he's a god among peasantsIs that a meaningless stat at the bottom of the screen: Smith since 2014?
He probably would have been toweled up if he was bowling it to set batsmen tbhWhy wasn't Saini bowling with this sort of gas all along? That's why he's in the side to begin with.
Because if a no ball is called it completely alters the way you approach running, maybe? Like, why would Kohli take off for that one in Adelaide if it was called no ball, as an example?you can still be run out off a no-ball, so i don't see how one will have a bearing on the other?
Not at all IMO, that's when he became good. Personally I think Smith since 2013 would be a better (ie. more valuable) stat because that's when he returned to the side as a specialist batsman. But making it since 2014 fits the narrative better because the numbers will be higher. Is that a meaningless stat at the bottom of the screen: Smith since 2014?
why? That's dumb.Because if a no ball is called it completely alters the way you approach running, maybe?
Are we talking about Ashwin againSomething Kohli can never do
Show up when the chips are down.
Yeah that and Ashwin not being quite on colour, more than the pitch, are the big differences between this vs Melbourne so far. The batsmen know they can sit a bit on Bumrah and Jadeja and cash in against those two.Saini is such a massive weak link here.

when did a no-ball ever affect anyone's running? Sorry I just don't get itBecause if a no ball is called it completely alters the way you approach running, maybe? Like, why would Kohli take off for that one in Adelaide if it was called no ball, as an example?
No it isn't at all.why? That's dumb.
