What's going to be the talk when someone at international level is inevitably run out taking a run which they would never have taken off a no ball which isn't called til after their dismissal?

yet another example of how more technology doesn't solve anything, but instead further highlights the human error component in cricket.

This umpire is probably of the belief that sliding your foot back behind the line while delivering the ball doesn't prevent it from being a no-ball. I bet he feels like this is his murali moment.

We all know decision making is far from the most important role of an umpire.
indeed. He'll probably get marked down a small bit for this and get a stern talking to. It would really be a disaster if he ****ed up the over-rate calculations though and Aus gets dinged more WTC points.
