Very solid from these two. Reckon the rain owes us one here after having denied us a win on the last tour.

Great day for Australia, that. If anyone is chatting offline to Senile Sentry or h_hurricane, tell them we all say hi.

It's dodgy footwork to go forward and back to spinners instead of plonking on one dog all the time?
not dodgy if you've got the skill and temperament for it, but frankly most batsmen don't, and Jadeja is very very good at trapping batsmen who get stuck in two minds.

Not a great day. Pant's dropped catches hurt us. Could be worse tho.

After waiting all week, waking up early just to watch reruns of some dumb Sri Lankan series, all I got to see was 2 hours of Pant dropping catches before work came calling.

Lost the toss on a dead track, half the side injured, the other half fielding like ****, Smith looking imperious. This will be a long few days.

Yeah but these blokes do have the skill and temperament for it, they've done it for years. It was perplexing watching them play in such an effete manner in the first two tests.

Their batting was bound to come good. Guess we take the inevitable bashing here and hope to come back strong in Brisbane, as unlikely as that is. We weren't bad today, but ****ing hell those drops were terribly costly even though Pucovski didn't add that many himself.

This is a flat pitch . If we restrict Aus to below 400 , then bowlers have done their job.
All depends on our batting now.
Need to dismiss both Smith and Labuschagne in 1st hour tomorrow.

The great jinxer Gautam Gambhir told yesterday on a TV programme that AUS top order of Warner, Labuschagne and Smith is one of the weakest in World cricket ??

Indians didn't bowl bad at all, it is a slow pitch and difficult to get batsmen beaten.

I will be disappointed if our batsmen don't get runs on this, unless Starc-Cummins-Hazlewood switch to god mode.

So all the prematch practice in the bedroom came good for TPC especially when it comes to getting on top of Ravi ?
