Incredible that he got away with it for so long tbh
Just googled it, apparently Ian Smith and Jeremy Coney questioned it on comms.

I don't think he chucks it, and I've seen him bowl a hell of a lot. But I think the sun shines out his arse and spent all day watching his Youtube channel.

One remarkable delivery to Rahul Dravid in Chennai, did several things at once. So cruel and wicked was it, on its way to clipping off-bail, the edge of Dravid's bat must have heard a cackle, a subcontinental mother-in-law to her daughter-in-law, "Hah, you thought you had me covered?"

Never realised how sweet that catch was.
That's incredible - that was 20 years ago and I remember distinctly watching that live, and remembering he went down the tunnel and gave something an almight wack. I also remembered it was Ranatunga but thought it was actually a leg side strangle. Weird how the mind works

FWIW, getting 299 garners greater attention. Had he breached the 300 barrier, he would have meshed in with a myriad of others.

It's been up a while but I didn't know there was footage of Greig running out Kallicharran

It looks like nearly everyone decided the ball wasn't in play on the basis it was the end of the day because if that ball isn't in play you may as well consider it dead the instant it leaves the bat.

Typical Tony. Notice that the keeper has removed the wickets and slip fielders moving towards pavilion BEFORE the non-strikers wicket broken.
The day is finished to all except to Tony
