Walsh and Anderson should never be mentioned in the same breath. Walsh's only real hole in his resume is away to Australia, whereas Anderson was pretty much useless outside of England.

But not this. There's a really, really big gap between 'Atg overseas' and 'useless overseas'. Anderson is clearly neither.

That’s interesting. Why do you rate holding at the same level as lee?

I don’t. I’m saying he wasn’t as good as Garner just like Lee wasn’t as good as McGrath.

Holding was a fine bowler, a ton better than Lee, but imo he wasn’t near as good as Garner. I think Mikey is a tad over rated here. Not saying he’s a dud - he’s exceptional. Just not at Ambrose, Marshall or Garner level.

Probably Pakistani's disagree with the OP, because they produced fast bowlers in same numbers but much more varied than WI. Fast (Shoaib, Zahid), Swing (Wasim, Waqar, Imran), Seam (Asif) or unorthodox ones. Left arm and right arm varieties too.
