That ridiculously chancy 156 aside, Masood has looked tailender quality against good pace bowling throughout his career.

Shane Watson-like review! Was never hitting anything other than middle stump about a third of the way up! Was a lot going on with his feet must somehow have thought he’d got a bit of bat on it.

Top ball from Southee, beauty!

Abid Ali gives the impression of solidity relative to other options but hasn't actually delivered abroad. Hope today's the day.

Yeah that's kinda harsh. Played well in SA a couple of years back (Steyn, Rabada, Olivier) and has a good temperament. Always looks scratchy at the start of his innings so absolutely a good pace attack can take advantage quickly

Moss

Seems to be a good amount of swing on offer. Southee and Boult should just focus on keeping it full.

What is this mythical full length every commentator wants the bowlers to ball? Who's a notable bowler who actually hucks it full? Shaun Pollock was talking about this in the SL test last week. Said everyone tells you to bowl fuller then you retire and realise you should've but didn't.
