Has anyone used the FA Player? It normally shows women’s football but all Cup ties not chosen for TV broadcast are going to be available on it.

Tons of lower league clubs will make changes as well though won't they?
No FA Cup replays though - although straight to pens instead of extra time might have helped as if a lower league club especially if say L2 or non-league do well v PL opposition to be level after 90mins the last thing they need is 30mins more of football. May see quite a few PL sides winning in extra-time although on the other hand the lottery of pens might mean teams expected to win may over-commit in attack if they don't win in normal time.

How seriously will teams take the FA Cup this season? It would be nice to have a cup run or get a big PL club if you are a non-league/L2 club but possibly at the expense of your league targets? Especially with no crowds and therefore no guaranteed ticket money - I know some club fans have helped smaller teams they've drawn in cup out so far but would be surprised if that was done universally.

this Rangers-Celtic match is like a mid-table League one game, urgh.
It reminds me very much of the northern Irish amateur league with the bobbly pitch, basic errors and superfluous violence. Though I might just be getting withdrawal symptoms.

McCoist is a good analyst, that the best I can say, that sending off should up the interest levels.

I don’t think he’s a great analyst, talking about men on posts at corners there which is usually a bit of an idiot badge. But I’d have him as one of the best co-comms out there anyway. Just not being a complete bore puts him streets ahead of everyone on BT.

Game called off at 2pm ffs due to covid. Strange statement from us, suggests us and the EFL wanted the game to go ahead but Colchester didn't

I guess the silver lining is that if away fans were allowed I would have been in the vicinity of their stadium at that time

Why haven't any good teams tried to sign Holberg and Buendia? Don't understand.
Holberg?

I remember someone posting at the end of last season that Norwich had no one other PL teams would want. Most of us disagreed and mentioned a few names we rated, but it wasn’t an unfair comment based on how they’d all been performing after Christmas. Shows how hard it is to look good in a team that’s struggling so badly.

Norwich probably just weren’t open to it. Kinda the main benefit of not spending money the summer they were promoted was that they wouldn’t be forced to sell if they went down again.

Don't know if anyone tried to sign Buendia but would be a major surprise if they didn't, sure he was right near the top for chances created or something.

Be interesting to see how Norwich do second time around if they go back up this year.
