Why would Rahane trust any of these jerks when calling for a review? Ashwin is too smart to think about wordly concerns, Jadeja's a selfish idiot and Pant has no clue what he's looking at half the time.
Completely agree re: Pant. He doesn't seem to have eyes when it comes to assisting with reviews.

Still think Rohit opening over Agarwal is a win for India. The Australians will be wary of him - they know he has considerable talent even if he hasn't utilised it fully in the test opportunities he has had. Plus his game is suited to Australian conditions.

Also think the Nohit criticism is a little harsh. If you look Rohit's record in the SENA countries which is really the gauge for any subcontinental batsman,he hasn't played enough in Eng or Nzl to really make a judgement of him in those conditions. He has been poor in SA granted and so-so in Australia but given that he actually looked ok the last time India were out here (helped India recover after their early collapse in Adelaide), I think he warrants another go. It would not surprise me if makes a big score. He has the game to succeed in Australian conditions more than a lot of subcontinental batsmen I have seen.

Hmm I think I'm gonna backtrack on the Rohit/Rahul not opening argument. If the Test goes ahead in Sydney they're probably in with a chance to score runs.

Super kudos to Bumrah, Ashwin, Jadeja and Siraj. They bowled superbly and Rahane handled them beautifully after Umesh was gone.

Rahane for permacaptain pleasex10

I like Rahane for captain but I think if this was his full time gig he'd get nosebleeds and would eventually end his career Kim Hughes style

good VC tho

He needs to be a far better VC and stop Kohli from making bad calls, in selection and during the game.

**** rohit. He shouldn't bat middle order, he shouldn't captain, heck he probably shouldn't even be in the squad.
You know nothing of smart cricket. He revolutionised the opening spot for India and you still can't respect him.
