2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

green should basically make that length his default length. not his job in this side to be a back of a length stock bowler.

edit: lyon really hasn't been good today. i don't think he's beaten the batsman in flight once.
Think the Indians have been more decisive with their footwork too. And rolled the wrists over their defensive prods, hence keeping balls down.

oh yeah india's batting against spin has been light years superior to australia's. but i don't think lyon has really got it right today at all.

paine needs to assert control here. just bowl normally rather than trying to get a wicket every ball.

Not sure what is worse, the way Australia have played in the last hour or so, trundler's rancid low effort bait, or the synchronisation of those chanting in the crowd

My money is on the latter tbh
They just don't look organized. Just like last time. I'm not sure what the plan is here.

green looks like he has a great head on his shoulders and i like him

however, he's 6'7" according to comms

do tall cricketers ever remain injury free and have long careers in general?

seem to remember oram, kemp etc dealing with frequent injury issues

would be a shame if green has to deal with those too
