2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

Really not sold on head as a test bat. I know he's had a decent start to his test career but he doesn't have a spine. Whenever the pressures on against good bowling or on a slightly helpful pitch he becomes useless. Would rather just cut the losses on him and give someone like Daniel solway or the mad dog a go.

Is Wade at one because of his ankle? Burns is generally pretty decent there
Must be, apparently its his knee rather than a rolled ankle. It's shocking how McCullum is still killing fielders to this day.

On the plus side, Marnus is no longer in there.

It was a really pointless dive wasn’t it

To be fair he might have stopped it, if you rewatch it you can see what he's trying but he just slips forward as he lunges.

Just unfortunate really given the amount of pointless dives we see without injuries like these.

Christ Peter Lalor is such a ****ing tool. Before he calls anyone else to sccount, he needs to explain how you could be paid to write about cricket for 30 years and still have no idea.

(The answer is he writes for The Australian)
There's nothing worse than the sports journalist with an ego. It's like the spiciest combination of melodrama and over-estimation of their profession. Like when he had that sook at Ponting the other test.

Gill looks like he's in Matrix bullet time when batting. Never looks rushed. Seriously concerned for the future of test cricket.
