To catch a mis-timed pull shotthat square leg position is... weird. what is it doing there?
what whyConcussion subs for batsmen and bowlers shouldn't be allowed. Fielding fine.
I think you're missing the point of themConcussion subs for batsmen and bowlers shouldn't be allowed. Fielding fine.
Batsmen and bowlers are fixed. Subs can come as fielders. If a batsman has concussion, one from outside the XI has never batted. It just brings in extra fuel power for the XI and is overcompensation as far as cricket is concerned.what why
yeah as tjb said, i think you've missed the point of concussion subs. none of this is remotely relevant to why concussion subs were brought in.Batsmen and bowlers are fixed. No one's going to use concussion subs if it means they lose a player ffs. They'll do all they can to keep playing and put themselves in danger. That's the whole point of them.Batsmen and bowlers are fixed. Subs can come as fielders. If a batsman has concussion, one from outside the XI has never batted. But it is that effect. If Rahane has concussion and Kohli comes in and scores a triple ton in this test, it would be just odd.yeah as tjb said, i think you've missed the point of concussion subs. none of this is remotely relevant to why concussion subs were brought in.
There needs to be a neutral panel of ICC Drs at international matches to police the protocols though, or you end up with concussed hamstrings like the Jadeja farce a couple of weeks ago, which was blatant cheating tbh.No one's going to use concussion subs if it means they lose a player ffs. They'll do all they can to keep playing and put themselves in danger. That's the whole point of them.
it doesn't matter. the justification for the concussion sub is health and player protection based, not to avoid disadvantage to the team. But it is that effect. If Rahane has concussion and Kohli comes in and scores a triple ton in this test, it would be just odd.
Don’t bother, this was explained to him earlier but he doesn’t seem to get ityeah as tjb said, i think you've missed the point of concussion subs. none of this is remotely relevant to why concussion subs were brought in.
There are many reasons for Indian mediocrity at Test level for the past 70 years. This isn't really one of them.A **** slog and a leg sider? Usual trash tbh. I mean, if that’s your world class standard then it explains 70 years of Indian mediocrity at test level tbh
He isn't here nor would he ever be in a position where he'd be the sub.But it is that effect. If Rahane has concussion and Kohli comes in and scores a triple ton in this test, it would be just odd.
