Labu has looked really dreadful this series despite a couple of ok scores. Especially against the short ball hes been clueless.
to be fair, the bowling has been of a very high standard. so the fact that he's faced as many balls as he as is an achievement, albeit one that's occurred with a huge dose of luck

Feel like there's been more people getting clocked in the head ever since the concussion rule came in. Probably just a coincidence.

I think the number has gone up since Covid, and my explanation for that is everyone is rusty.

i reckon siraj needs to bowl from a bit closer to the stumps tbh. without extra bounce and consistent away-seam, he needs to really bowl a tight line and that'll be a bit easier if he gets tighter to the stumps.

Labu batting on. I wonder if the concussion testing protocols account for delayed symptoms. Hope he's actually okay at either rate. Did they require he change his helmet too?

yeah this is the big question that no one wants to talk about - what to do about delayed symptoms. at least they actually checked him this time though.

In the match context they just replace you anyway don’t they? Wasn’t that what happened with the Smith replacement at Lord’s?
