OK I'm genuinely concerned about Smith now. Wonder whether Warner's absence isn't helping and it's a great ball but offies have always been Smith's bread and butter.

Yeah it's strange, his back to back lightning quick ODI tons made me think he'd reached an even higher plane

Yeah there's definitely something up with Smith. Not sure I can pinpoint exactly what it could be, but mentally he just seems a bit disturbed at the crease. Trying to read his body language and just general demeanour

He has been woefully out of form since England. It remains to be seen if he'll have a Tendulkar-like revival or a Ponting- like slow crawl to retirement.

Nah he's still ****. Two batsmen throwing their wickets away to him notwithstanding.

Also leaving 11mm on the deck was a brainless idea.
Haha. It’s the grass now is it? Not usually an advantage you’d associate with spin is it? Besides we did elect to bat. So you’re just beclowning yourself now. He’s getting bounce and turn. He isn’t bowling to his away average.

eh it's only been two innings.
he's actually looked really out of nick since the two odi hundreds. even his t20 scores looked really scratchy. in tests there's last summer too, he just can't work out his scoring zones atm
