Always take Ashwin on. Even Gayle these days would have chased it down quicker than he did.

You know, if Wade goes big here I can perfectly envision him opening with Warner for a bit. I think they'd be like peas in a pod and about the same size.

He averaged 43 last summer which is very decent, albeit the attacks weren’t as good as the full strength Indian one or England over there.

I’ve not really been sold on him as a top six batsman but tbh I have a fair bit of respect for anyone who moves around in the order to accommodate the needs of their side, so I’m hoping he does make a good fist of it.

I think he tends to close himself off a bit, which leaves him susceptible around leg stump to balls which other blokes nudge away for ones, like the ball in Nostrils last over which hit him on the thigh, but it’s something he should be able to adjust to with a slight adjustment in his stance
