Make that two now, Duffy had struck as well. Good bowling lineup today for NZ A.
Looks like a green surface also. King out pushing at a wide one, Mosely edging a good one to slip.

Pooran smacked his second ball imperiously through the covers.

We've got a Test Match - you can still imagine New Zealand winning batting first but not the West Indies so much - hopefully a competitive game and the West Indies bowlers have a good couple sessions today.

Williamson's abiity to lose the toss continues unabated.

Supposedly there's 15 mm of grass on the pitch - that's a lot.

Question for West Indian supporters, given many islands make up West Indies team the nation anthem, do the players known them by words?

Given the overcast conditions and green pitch, I'm not too worried about losing the toss - conditions will stay pretty tough for batting throughout the first couple of days I reckon. NZ still need at least 200 to get themselves in the game though.

I see Stead is still on the crackpipe... The Daryl Mitchell selection just makes no sense. We have four front line seamers and you’re picking him too.

Edit: Glad to see Will Young finally given an opportunity kind you, Jesus he’s been waiting a long time know. Especially by New Zealand standards.

Kane is your man, on a pitch like this the best rise. Kane and Ross are crucial. To be fair the pitches were similar or worse so those that played first class cricket this year should be fine too unless Windies bowl so good that our batting line up is pushed aside.

Pretty sad to hear Roach's dad's death. How do you even get there and bowl with so much emotion going through you?

Noticed Wagner down on both knees for the BLM stand. Maybe not a huge fan of the gesture, and opting to make a personal prayer instead?

Might just be hard to carry all the weight of the NZ attack while on one knee.
