Exciting start. Would be nice to see these 2 settle down and get the team to say 200ish off 30. Best chance they’ve got I reckon.

maybe cut out the hook.

What time is it in India? Where is all the support? Might as well go back to one thread rather than a sub-forum as Indians don't seem to care ;)

My wife asked me if the cricket was going to be on all night. I feel like a bit of a liar now. This is pretty poor stuff from India tonight. "Under prepared" is the phrase that springs to mind.

This jersey does bring the painful memories of 1992 WC. And our performance is going on lines of what we did back then.

He's the second best pace bowler Australia has in both formats. Behind Starc in ODIs and Cummins in tests.
Dunno about the rankings, but he was awesome in the series up here in the early autumn too. Went for a tick over 4 an over when no other Oz seamer managed to keep it under 5.

Loathe as I am to agree with Warne I do think he hit on something when he called him an "old fashioned" ODI bowler in that Haze is principally a length bowler who isn't express.

But if it's done well there's something to be said for the old verities.
