Not such a fantastic last 5-6 overs. 400 seemed there when Maxwell was on song.

Still hard to imagine it not being enough.

Why is Cummins batting ahead of Starc with 4 balls left?
I was kind of thinking Starc should've come in when Marnus did, but figured giving Marnus and Carey and opportunity to demonstrate/improve their late overs hitting was fair enough. Cummins was weird though. Only thing I can think of is that Shami bowls better to lefties at the death.

Apparently it's statistically the worst ever first over of an innings.

Bangladesh conceded 22 once but they took a wicket. 1/22 > 0/20.
How on earth do you concede 22 in one over at the start of an innings yet still take a wicket? Was this a case where they bowled like 10 wides or something?

"Running in, bowling and hoping for the best," is a good description of our bowling strategy in the last test series.

I can't even find the game Gilchrist was talking about. He must have got one of the details wrong.

Interesting how far back Agarwal positions his hands before crouching in his stance.
