Yet another "bid for position" draft

Yeah, I was looking at a list from the top of the page like a fool! 5AM brain is not a good brain
I initially thought he was still available to be fair, compiled an extended list to send to AndrewB if he would be willing to pick on my behalf as about to go offline and then realised Afridi was already picked - was hoping I hadn't completely messed up myself. A few of that extended list you've ended up picking but fewer then it might have been (pending Afridi and Azam changes).

@ataraxia I think - presuming they are all eligible picks - Murali a very good pick at this stage - he was actually top of the list for my next pick!

Trying again!

Adam Gilchrist, Aaron Finch, Kumar Sangakkara, Kevin Pietersen, Andrew Symonds, Yuvraj Singh, Dwayne Bravo, Shaun Pollock, Alfonso Thomas, Brett Lee, Muttiah Muralitharan
That must have left so many drafters frustrated! An entire team in a go!

lol.. nicking off two keepers is interesting and I would bat Yuvi above Symonds but otherwise very solid side, even if a wee bit unspectacular.

Unspectacular? He's got Gilchrist, KP, Yuvi, Symonds, Lee, Murali, Pollock. Older generation players who no doubt would have been gun if they played a full career of t20s

That's a pretty good side. Awesome batting with solid T20 experience and bowling looks good too. More T20 experience in bowling would've made it look even better but weeman had no choice I suppose.

Yeah it's a very good side. I've preferred to pick on T20 records but definitely defensible
I think really it's only Shaun Pollock who doesn't have a significant T20 record, and even he played 46 games.

Aaron Finch - 298 matches
Adam Gilchrist - 102 matches
Kumar Sangakarra - 267 matches
Kevin Pietersen - 200 matches
Yuvraj Singh - 231 matches
Andrew Symonds - 93 matches
Dwayne Bravo - 471 matches
Shaun Pollock - 46 matches
Alfonso Thomas - 225 matches
Bret Lee - 120 matches
Muttiah Muralitharan - 164 matches

Contrast this with some of the bowlers picked so far:

Trent Boult - 106 games
Mitchell Starc - 97 games
Jaspit Bumrah - 168 games
Pat Cummins - 94 games
Jofra Archer - 110 games
Nathan Coulter-Nile - 123 games
Shane Bond - 40 games
Rabada - 92 games

Obviously cherry picked a little bit, but I don't think it's fair to say that my bowling attack is particularly inexperienced relative to some of the other selections so far.

But to finish of my "no my team is actually good, trust me" series of rant posts, to portray the situation at its extremes, my bowling attack was basically a case of getting the right balance between number of Dwayne Bravos (lots of T20 experience, middling performance) compared to Shaun Pollocks (not so much T20 experience, good when he did play, good limited overs record more generally). I mostly went for the latter.
