How good a bowler was Watson when he was younger? Was always under the impression he was always more of a 5th bowler.

He hit 140s regularly, but was very straight up-and-down. Personally I think he was better when he got older and slowed down a bit, got a lot more accurate and generated some very nice in-swing. But he was injured most of the time.

Gun barrel 145. Extremely hittable. Was much better when he slowed down to 130 and developed some swing.

Mostly solid and accurate if not massively threatening. Couple of good spells, but hasn't really looked like taking bulk wickets.

How good is green's white ball stuff? Haven't watched him play any aside from some under 19 highlight reels but his white ball stats there don't seem to be anywhere near as good as his red ball stuff.

I don't think he's had much of an an opportunity to play proper innings in white ball cricket. Scorchers used him as a specialist #7 bat in the BBL and his last List A game was before his breakout ton; I think he exclusively batted 7-9 in those as well (and he still managed to top score with 86 at #7 in his second most recent outing).

I definitely think it's fair to say his bowling is less suited to white ball cricket though. Bowls traditional outies.
