Good to see the change of State hasn't altered the Siddle "heartfelt and somewhat heroic but overwhelmingly very ordinary" standard of performance

Must be a lot of govt cars in Adelaide- every one driving past the oval on the feed is white.

That and the fact Adelaide is kind of dull. Though I may be over there when the test is on, so if any CWers are up for a get together lmk

This summer already feels too long.

I will say Doran could have made that second arduous voyage far longer if the umpire could tell his anus from the legside. Dreadful call.

They never stood a chance against a side with Cameron Gannon.

Western Australia will be the envy of the competition come end of season.

I've been impressed with Bartlett in the past but I thought he was much older than he is. 21 is young enough that he could be in test reckoning within a couple of years.

Yeah he was swinging a 60 over ball around corners in the first tas innings, extremely talented for a 22 year old.

News from around the grounds:

NSW have narrowed their squad down to twelve for their first match of the season. As was reported Starc is being rested, but far more surprisingly Chris Tremain has been omitted entirely. From being in the Test squad to being 8th at best in line for your new state in under two years, that's quite the dramatic fall, I thought all along going back to NSW was a weird move career wise and that has proven to be exactly the case.

Here in SACAland Kane Richardson is back in the squad after being rested initially. Good to have him back, but honestly I can't imagine he will make a huge amount of difference, especially with half a yard less pace these days

And the big one: Foxtel have announced whey will be showing the games from KRO starting monday. Great news seeing the Shield get extra exposure, but I am not sure how this will affect me, wonder of they will bother adding extra cameras and tidying up the broadcast for TV puropses. Got Kayo so not strictly of benefit to myself but will be intetested to see how the coverage looks
