Good spotThe rules are simple:
There will be a varied draft order. Picking from an earlier year will allow you to get an early pick in the next round. No 2 players can be picked from the same year of debut. All 143 years of test cricket are open so this works ideally if there are 16+ participants. I'll start it whenever we hit that number.
This is a big draft so Macartney is an expected pick. Armstrong from me was pushing it though...Slightly regretting my pick of Macartney - with hindsight might have gone for Worrell instead of Walcott to give me additional bowling and not picked Macartney - Macartney did average over 50 at 3 which influenced my pick but he's certainly probably not in the top 20 or so Top Order batsman most would list.
Interesting to see how he is perceived - he's always someone who is on the fringes of possible selection for me in drafts - his averages certainly look decent but I guess with no real restrictions in this draft minus no 2 players from same year its trying to find a balance between not being too reliant on getting your ideal XI with later picks but also get enough quality in the side at the same time. This is a big draft so Macartney is an expected pick. Hazare isn't an eligible pick either - same debut year as Miller.@Michaelf7777777 Mankad ineligible due to same debut year as Hazare
Good thing others are more vigilant - I haven't picked up on either mistake until they've been brought upHazare isn't an eligible pick either - same debut year as Miller.
