West Indies fan here, in the UK and so follow quite a bit of English Cricket have had a soft spot for Sri Lanka - I think because the first cricket match I attended was an ODI between England and Sri Lanka. Like to see Herath weaving his magic, think there might be an aspect of him not being your 'typical athlete' in terms of physique which almost elevates perception of his skill level just ambling in but nonetheless being right up there in terms of spinners in the last say fifteen years
