See as a lower League fan, when people say something like "was Sterlings miss the worst ever", I just shrug, we'll get a few of them a season, ball coming across with pace, few strikers I have seen play, I'm only saying 80-20 that they'll score that.

Well we had a fairly dull opening day. If we had Norwood in this team we'd do very well. So much better everywhere else on the pitch than last time we went up.

Tbf they’re much harder at lower levels because goalmouths are usually in terrible shape.

Tbh even if fans come back soon (we can but pray) I suspect you'll be near the end when grounds are close to anything full so atmosphere will be a non factor for the bulk of the season I reckon

Might go and watch Fleet Spurs v Jersey Bulls in Farnborough next Friday. Tickets on sale for that atm. Jersey Bulls the only team in the country with a 100% win record in league games before the FA postponed their season apparently.

He’s hardly an ATG, and he didn’t really improve them last season, but they’re attracting a whole other class of player with him in charge.

They have backed him by getting the midfield sorted, the defence will obviously improve with a better midfield and I think Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin showed last season if they can score a decent amount of goals in a poor side they are good enough. The key is keeping James fit, he looks a great signing like Gabriel does for Arsenal.

Yeah DCL and Richarlison are both very good imo. Pickford is terrible though. That’ll remain a problem.
