Do Australia really need to play two spinners?
Yeah he would get a good post-series mark. I'm just unsure if he can score quickly enough to ram the advantage home.He batted well last game and was a big part of Australia putting up a score of note in the 2nd game too.
Simply giving ODI players Wade, Hazlewood and Marsh some warm up so we can beat Eng 3-0man, what the hell is that team australia picked.
Right, wrong, rightAgar is low-key gun and has impressed with the ball this series. The lesser Richardson and Stoinis are hacks and should be done away with.
Malan is in the 'reserves' part of the squad I think. He should be in ahead of Banton and Billings, but most likely none will play as they'll want Moeen Ali down the order and a seam bowling allrounder in Stokes' spot.Wonder if Malan gets a gig? Banton didn't exactly set the world alight, but does have youth on his side.
oh yeah definitely, but mostly because he's borderline useless for 9 out of 10 innings when he has to hit out from ball one, which is often when he bats 6. but in no way is he good enough to be a top three batsman for australia.Top order typically a better place for him no?
For some reason I always view him as this youngish guy with loads of potential, who could be a pretty good top order replacement in the long term, but just hasn't had a long enough run in the side to provide any consistency.oh yeah definitely, but mostly because he's borderline useless for 9 out of 10 innings when he has to hit out from ball one, which is often when he bats 6. but in no way is he good enough to be a top three batsman for australia.
which is a roundabout way of saying: marcus stoinis batting 3 lmao
