Stonis was woeful the amount of balls he had on length and he missed almost all of them (Yes they are out of practise)

But it was a bottle job from Australia.

Jeez, massive jib from yer Crims.

Fair play to our chaps, but really it's a game they lost rather than one we won.

Remarkable comeback, I had all but zoned out when Smith and Maxwell we’re out and then suddenly it’s a nailbiter in no time.

That pair of last overs from Archer and Wood where they were firing it through was dramatic to listen to, wish I’d been able to watch

he’s ordinary

either Marsh should be batting there or Marnus plays and they move the others down one. Balance is wrong with Agar at seven
He doesn't have enough scoring options for international cricket imo. Good international bowlers (i.e Chris Jordan not Tom Curran) don't just let you plant your foot and bang it down the ground.

Haha, always god to see a choke from Oz.

Yet,yeah, that order looks wrong for us. I obviously love Banton, but his limited over cricket is up the order, totally different mind-set this.

you must not have watched the last two overs when those bowlers delivered three rank leg side length balls in the wheelhouse and he missed all of them? That’s not good bowling - it’s a failure to dispatch crap bowling. England won that with their excellent bowling from about the 12-17th overs rather than in the last three.

The boy Phillippe has some pretty big wraps on him too, if Warne is to be believed?

Any road, there's surely better options than Stoinis at #5 in the squad.

Yeah Philippe looks the goods though he bats up front, so I don’t know if he would ge tv a look in at 5-7.

I suspect Stoinis is there as a bit of bowling cover - did that role decently in the WC somehow - I don’t know how, you’d love to face him for a living.

I suppose if it was more a seamers deck they’d have played MMarsh over Agar which probably makes the balance look better, but If you’re going to only play four specialist batsmen then your all rounder at five needs to offer more than Stoinis does/ can

Surprised they let Pietersen in the ground given his history with the England set up over the years

Literally what I wrote, Curran bowled poorly. Jordan bowled well though, clueless comment. Bowled cutters into the pitch.

Sam Billings has come a fair way from a T20 semi final for Penrith vs Parra at Old Kings a few years back.
