I have observed Burns is quite susceptible to that angle of the delivery.
Root needs to play a captain's knock.
Vaughan was saying at the end of Day 2 that Burns' and Sibley's techniques make them massive LBW candidates against these guys. I know that MPV has knobbish tendencies, but he does know rather more about opening the batting at this level than the rest of us combined.

The crabby technique of Burns might be flawed against a proper new ball attack, but ever so often it 'clicks'. Sibley's weakness is playing through the off-side and the short ball on the hips to chest; but he can easily be defeated by pace directed at his stumps.

Yasir should have his midwicket up after he lands the first few. Don’t mind a bloke back as he’s starting off but it’s a singleathon if you leave him back.

Yasir should go round the wicket and get it spitting out of those footmarks.

Expect all the wickets to fall to straight balls though.

Wonder after seeing a quick lifting delivery like that Archer is sat on the balcony thinking ”oh yes, actually if you bend your back it does go through on there!” If you did it at 92mph it’d cause even more issues!!
