Btw, don;t be surprised if England lose this series handily. Hearing a few of the Windies players talk about how hard the last few weeks of their bubble lockdown was, it sounds like their might be a limit on how long they can stay in such an environment and maintain performance.

Interestingly, Jason Holder said the hardest thing was returning to Old Trafford, the place where they had spent so much time before the first test at the Rose Bowl.

I guess what I'm saying is don't forget that the mental health of the players might play a big role here and this is an unprecedented situation.

I think it's much more likely that England lose because they're good at dropping matches and series against Pakistan.

Absolutely love this type of bowler. IMO Asif was, somewhat unfortunately, the best one to watch.

Pope leading well here. If he and Buttler can stay for a bit they will start to test this outfit mentally which is what no Pakistan team wants. Mentally not very tough sides in general.

Not sure where you got the idea about Abbas being great at reverse?

Agree with starfighter here, his strength has always been pitch it just outside off stump and let the seam take care of the rest.

Absolutely love this type of bowler. IMO Asif was, somewhat unfortunately, the best one to watch.

yea asif got extravagant bounce that i haven't seen abbas achieve, which kinda makes abbas' and philander's success more impressive. successful medium pacers tend to be really tall.

holder is 2.01m, mcgrath 1.96m, asif and southee 1.93m. can't find a measurement for abbas but he's a lot skiddier than those guys.
