That's how you grab chances behind the stumps to a spinner. Not expecting much from Buttler here.

Whatever it takes!!!
Lol India aren't bowling
More like pre 2018 India...

Anyways, the reason I think Naseem is special is his instincts. He suddenly got Pope going there and almost got him out and he does not overdo it either. Kid has got the instincts to work out what to bowl and what the batsman feels like doing etc.

This is a little OTT tbh, he pitched a ball up after a crap bumper. First false shot he has drawn in his spell.

This counter attack from Pope reminds me of how Root used to play when he came in at 5.

Is there any word on Stokes' injury? Even if he's not right we should go back to a 6-1-4 line up imo. It was fine going 5 bowlers again Windies as they were shot and don't have much batting, but Pakistan are a much more well rounded team.

He is another Ishant man.

He will take 5-6 years to start getting good. For now, he sucks.

Afridi used to be gunbarrel straight a year or so back, looks brilliant now that he's able to swing it a wee bit and bring it back into the right hander.

Classic Jos. Giving a glimmer of hope before he reverse sweeps one straight to point.

Not that part... He engaged Pope which drew out the pull and drive. To his credit, Pope pulled back, but for a guy who has played so little FC those are good signs IMO. Anyways time will tell.

Horrible shot really. Wasn't a special ball.
Yeah, way too close to cut though.

Crediting Holding with that one. He said literally seconds before that it looked like Root was settling in to play the anchor role.

Well, it sounded like "anchor", anyway...
