We're culling scouts left, right and centre now. I hope we have an idea of who/how we are replacing them because the thought of us having no scouts and relying on contacts(which has been bandied about) is terrifying.

I mean it isn't boring but we seem a bit of a basket case club right now.

Even more smaller ones are too. Drastic times for football across the board.
That's a given. Just think there's gonna be big trouble with all these "big" clubs that scrape by on clout and borrowed money who are several hundreds of million pounds in debt already. Take Tottenham, for instance. How do they plan to pay for that new stadium now that they've go no NFL games, no concerts and no match-day income? Wouldn't be surprised to see a Harry Kane sale coming.

Hadn't considered stuff like that.

Surely to **** there's a reckoning coming for Barcelona?

Agents who are mates with the sporting director.

Some Nations League Internationals might have to be played at neutral grounds next month because of travel restrictions for some countries. It seems a bit illogical playing these games at all in the current climate. With the Euros now hoping to take place next summer there isn't even a place for the mini-tournament final stages.

Apparently Arsenal's players, but particularly Xhaka, are really kicking off about this redundancy story.

They're the only group of players in the Premier League to agree a pay cut to support the other staff members jobs. I'd be pissed too.

Apparently the scout redundancies aren't part of the 55 staff members under review and are a result of a case study of the club's recruitment by Edu after he arrived.

With the astronomical debts that Bolton, Wigan and Blackburn have amassed and not including the mess that Portsmouth, Leeds and Forest got into it is inevitable that some clubs in the Premier League will be in dire trouble very soon.

Asking for a voluntary wage cut to prevent redundancies then forcing through redundancies anyway is textbook executive sociopathy.

I.e. basically the least well paid people in the entire organisation.

edit: @ duffar
Yes, it's absolutely horrific. What a bunch of cunnies we have as owners.

Especially when they tried to justify it to fans by saying it would allow more investment for our first team. **** off with that shite.

Aberdeen match postponed. I knew the season would be interrupted but I thought they might squeeze in a couple of clear weeks.
