30 or 40 posts per page will be good. I think most old timers preferred 40 posts per page. I like the idea of it being uniform for all users (but certainly more than 20) so that when we refer to say page #3, we all mean the same thing.
I actually mis-read, it's threads per page in the admin panel. I've asked the software provider if it's possible to change. WIll let everyone know what I hear back.

Are you still having issues accessing the forum btw @Burgey?

Change of mind, new thoughts to add, rogue spelling mistakes. I've edited many a post the morning after making it.
There could potentially be 50+ posts since though with your old post hardily being read again. Would you not be better off adding a new post to clarify, add further thoughts, etc?

Avatars have been removed from alongside threads - let me know thoughts.

Note: you may need to do a hard refresh within your browser for it to take affect.

I just realised that the the option for clicking on the post count and seeing who posted (and then searching their posts) is gone. Used that way too much, mainly for looking at my own posts.

Not sure XenForo will do that.

I'm not 100% but I don't believe so.

More threads per page might be good too. I think we had 6-700 pages in the old one, as opposed to 1000 now.

I would question, why would you need to edit a post after more than than a few minutes?
We play these draft games where we post progress by repeatedly editing the update post. If we can edit only up to 5 minutes then we might end up spamming with updates every few minutes.
