Quote is automated when you reply to a post.I'm somewhat ambivalent about the change. It's a positive aspect that the majority of members seem to appreciate the added features.
I find the posts are too indistinct in terms of separation as there is no line/border between one and the next. I also miss the quote function.
If this sounds too negative put it down to my age and the fact that I'm in a demographic that resists change.
Thanks. I was also referring to the quote function on the task bar.Quote is automated when you reply to a post.
OMG thought I was the only one with this problem.I keep clicking the Home button instead of the Forum button and redirect myself to the overall homepage, not the forum one. Have to train myself out of that, seemingly.
and if you click the forum button from the homepage, you get logged out and can't log back in unless you close the tab and come back in a fresh tab. there's an error message about cookies if you try logging in without closing the tabI keep clicking the Home button instead of the Forum button and redirect myself to the overall homepage, not the forum one. What is the downtime every time you change GUIs? If we are trying out different styles, I have a couple of suggestions:Re: "character" I suggest that we choose a selection of XenForo styles and see what people like after we iron out the functionality bugs. I'd love a dark mode style personally.
You went to Local Moderator off your own accord? Think GIMH is already winning. My initial thought was that I didn't like it but it's growing on me. Give it half an hour (i.e. another two days) and I think I'll be on board.
Seemed to have been able to re-title myself though; maybe I can hoodwink GIMH into thinking that I have, in fact, resigned.
Yeah, follow these steps:Quotations in other posters' sigs can make the forum difficult to read. Is there any way I can turn them off so I can't see them?
Edit: looks like big D man has answered my Q
I'll take no instructions from someone without an avatar and custom title
