I'm somewhat ambivalent about the change. It's a positive aspect that the majority of members seem to appreciate the added features.
I find the posts are too indistinct in terms of separation as there is no line/border between one and the next. I also miss the quote function.
If this sounds too negative put it down to my age and the fact that I'm in a demographic that resists change.

Quote is automated when you reply to a post.

On closer examination I can see the faintest of lines between posts.

I keep clicking the Home button instead of the Forum button and redirect myself to the overall homepage, not the forum one. Have to train myself out of that, seemingly.

and if you click the forum button from the homepage, you get logged out and can't log back in unless you close the tab and come back in a fresh tab. there's an error message about cookies if you try logging in without closing the tab

What is the downtime every time you change GUIs? If we are trying out different styles, I have a couple of suggestions:

1. We can experiment with a style that reduces the wasted space on either side. More posts per page would be good
2. A dark blue separation strip between posts
3. Disabling avatars altogether should be configurable. I liked them earlier but they take up way too much space in this new format

Seemed to have been able to re-title myself though; maybe I can hoodwink GIMH into thinking that I have, in fact, resigned.

You went to Local Moderator off your own accord? Think GIMH is already winning.

Like I said, I have not enabled sigs in ages on CW and luckily that setting carried over. Have found it very fun.

And @James and @Spark , I think XenForo allows you to customize the reaction emoticons too, right? I remember on Box Office Theory they had some movie related ones for the like, haha and everything. Think you can add more of those as well. Might be fun when you guys get the time...

Yeah, follow these steps:

- Click your own profile in the top right
- Select 'Log Out'
- Close browser
- Dispose of device
