ODI Draft - Ascending Batting Average

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
A very interesting variant of this draft can be one where you pick 11 players strictly in their batting order in the XI starting with openers. Voting should explicitly require the batting order to be taken into consideration. Will be interesting how early likes of Hadlee and Pollock get picked who are good enough to be lead bowlers of their attacks and also give good all round depth to the team.

Yeah lets ease out on the time restrictions for today.
I mentioned yesterday that there won't be any time restrictions for the day.

So trundler gets Gilly and mr_mr has to pick his round 5 player again.

mr_mr > me > kk > ll

But let me add I think a rule of no time outs for the day shouldn't extend to 1pm the following day

This is mighty interesting. I assume you are going to have him as your 5th bowler because I don't know many batsmen with higher average that can bowl.
Planning to share his 10 with another bat who can bowl a bit

I reckon he's alright tbh. I can think of 7 players off the top of my head with better batting averages who are also better or at least equivalent bowlers. Whether you'd really want them in your team or not is maybe a different thing but if he ends up sticking one at 7 to share fifth bowler duties with Tendulkar I think it's probably fine.

What happened to your idea that you should have a 5th bowler in the XI that you will back to bowl 10 overs even if who you pick as 5th may not be one of the top 5 bowlers at your disposal. :p
