Great spell by Gabriel tbf.

Which sums up the match so far; WI have just been much the better side.

Reckon these two should take the long handle to it. We're not going to bat through for the draw and one will have their name on it eventually, so might as well try to slog twenty or thirty.

I agree, but possibly not in the 5 minutes before close, but yeah, tomorrow these two hanging about is probably counterproductive, they can both hit boundaries, go for it.

Whatever it takes!!!
What a test for cricket to come back with.. Absolutely loving it, even the not so top draw displays by some on both sides. It all adds to the spectacle, which is what sport is, at the end of the day. And haven't we all needed that?

Can't remember the last time a game was so close going into the last day, though I think the odds are a bit generous to England here.

Never been good at tests, one of the first names on teamsheet in shorter versions but shouldn't play another test. EVER.
Tbh, taken as a whole I'd say his test career has been acceptable but nothing special (I think a lot of people have unrealistic expectations of wicketkeeper-batsmen in general these days), but this should probably be it for him

Yeah, just had a look on cricinfo and he averages 25 in FC cricket with 6 50s, so clearly no mug.

Never seen much evidence of it in internationals though.
He clearly has all the shots, and is technically very good, saw him get a very nice 50 live, and honestly he looked the best batsman on show that day, but when Tests comes along he clams up, so no faith he'll do it, but there is potential there. Yet England have a long history of potential good looking allrounders, just end up being bowlers who bat a bit. I mean Defreitas and Gough scored great innings on debut and were talked up as the next botham, not to be.

Yeah, I want him out, but his Test career is just average really rather than bad, if we didn't have a guy who was a better 'keeper, and averaged about 10 more than him in Test cricket, and 7 in first-class, who is 2 years younger, I probably wouldn't mind him being in.
