England should get to 200 which would just about make them favourites I think, but we could have a real nailbiter in store.

Buttler is so odd. I'm convinced he'd be better if he had shastri in his ear telling him to go full intent. But then I realise he's actually played a few good innings in backs to the wall situations trying to save test matches, so he shouldn't actually be incapable of constructing a proper innings. Don't really know what to make of him tbh.

He'd be phenomenal in a different setup. Convinced of it.

He's the textbook example of what I kept banging on about last year about England having talent to burn but the structure/mindset is all wrong.

Closer than we thought. I'm confused that cricinfo reckon that would have been their last one if they started again after 80 overs. Or have I missed two in the last 17 overs?

Is his technique solid enough for Tests? Seems to get bowled way too often.
