I mean, IDK how ICC have rated the HK players, but Tanwir Afzal was a Pak U19 cricketer, Mark Chapman is playing for NZ, Anshuman Rath might very well play for India one day, and Nizakat Khan hit 92 vs India in the Asia Cup not that long ago. Babar Hayat has a FC 200 in Associate cricket, Nadeem Ahmed and Ehsan Khan have legit ODI records.

lack of opportunity to play Test/County cricket doesn't mean lack of ability, but tbf that's probably how it works out in ICC

A good partnership between Tamim & Kayes, before an even better one between Tamim & Shakib completely bats Jamaica out of the game. Seems I might have accidentally put Mushfiqur as 'keeper ahead of Kaken's choice of Das so I'll try to be more careful moving ahead.

Tbf the Jamaican bowlers had to toil away in the heat without much juice in the pitch, whilst BD's two best batsmen were seeing it like a watermelon out there. The unsung hero is Mehidy, especially his 5 wicket haul in the first innings.

Thought Hong Kong were heading for a big defeat there at the halfway stage, so that's a decent fightback by them.
