ICC Sim League IX

Jeez, did not realize how strong morgie's Top 4 are. Amazing. That could be an ATG side's top 4. :)

And rough luck for my team getting Marshall'd. 26 off 12 is pretty doable but Hadlee was gone and Mushtaq Mohammed got 3 important wickets there at the end. Think the AI's reluctance to use more than 5 bowlers is the real problem for many sides in this compettion.
Was rather surprised by the result TBH. I thought it would be Barlow who got 6...

The 5 bowler problem is huge for me. I continually play just 3 specialist bowlers, and my two reserve bowlers are lower priority in this sim than Barlow. Bevan Congdon doesn't get a bowl and is undroppable because I don't have a reserve batsman; I've dropped him before but I have to play 2 keepers otherwise it doesn't work. That's not to say I'm complaining based on Barlow's record...

Prior sparks an incredible revival to lead the CGSS home. Sadly, this loss sees the Queen's Moustaches tournament come to an end.

An incredible contest ends with Thomson conceding only two runs & taking the key wicket of Knott in the final over.

Big congratulations to Howe for taking out the league stage. Tbh this is probably a bigger/harder achievement than winning the finals series, but we'll just have to wait & see if MOM can take out the grand slam. Things are rather tight in the midtable, keep in mind the points table above isn't accurate, as I've just put teams in alphabetical order which are on the same amount of points. NRR will come into play if required. Please post your R9 team when ready!

I haven't calculated any of it yet. I have a feeling morgie's team would have a decent NRR though.

Whatever it takes!!!
And amazing results in R8 all the way. Loved that last over finish. Thomson and Border shining at least in the competition.
