Whilst retaining some of the brand’s key performers from the 2019/20 season, the Warriors look forward to welcoming fresh talent into the squad.
General Manager for Eastern Province Cricket and Cricket Eastern Cape, Shafiek Abrahams, announced the squad on Thursday.
Abrahams said he believed the balance of players brought a strong mix of sound experience and fresh talent and vibrancy.

Donald excited about new Knights signings
The VKB Knights have confirmed their new signings for the 2020/21 domestic cricket season.
The Central franchise was dealt a big blow with the departure of the star batsman, Keegan Petersen, and the young and tall left-arm quick, Marco Jansen.
Petersen, who was the Player of the Year last season at the Knights will be heading to Durban where he will be joining the Dolphins. Jansen in his turn will be trading the Free State for the Eastern Cape where he will be playing for the Warriors.
Jansen will be replaced in the Knights squad by his twin brother, Duan, who is also a left-arm seamer. Duan is being bumped up from a provincial to a franchise contract.
The 29-year-old left-handed batsman, Jonathan Vandiar, who has Indian Premier League experience with the Royal Challengers Bangalore will be heading to the Knights from the Titans. After just over a 100 first-class games, Vandiar, has over 5500 runs to his name.
The next addition to the Knights line-up in the English-born all-rounder, Matthew Kleinveldt, who is also the cousin of the former Proteas seamer, Rory Kleinveldt. Kleinveldt has over 6000 runs to his record after 109 first-class games, and as a right-arm offbreak bowler has over a 100 wickets to his name.
The seamer, Migael Pretorius, joins from the 4-Day champions, the Lions. Pretorius has an impressive average in first-class cricket of 23.17, and has 104 wickets to his name after 30 matches. His is more than capable with the bat as well, and has three 50’s to his name with a highest score of 81*.
Ferisco Adams in an allrounder who joins from the Cape Cobras and he has also represented the Paarl Rocks in the Mzansi Super League.
Alfred Mothoa is a seamer who joins from the Titans, and has a very 141 first-class wickets to his name after 58 matches. His boasts with career-best figures of 7/115 in an innings, and he also recently played against the Knights in the Momentum One-Day Cup “quarter-final” at SuperSport Park.
Incoming Knights coach, Allan Donald, told OFM Sport that the departure of Petersen and Jansen is a definite blow, but his is excited about the new signings.
“We lost Marco Jansen and Keegan Petersen, and those were big players. Jansen is off to the Warriors and Petersen is going to the Dolphins.
“They are big loses for us and they did very, very well while they were here. I just want to wish them all of the best.
“It is an opportunity for other guys to stake a claim, and I think that there are exciting times lying ahead.”
The Titans have named an exciting squad for the 2020/21 season, with some interesting additions from across the country.
With the departure of the long-serving Farhaan Behardien to English county Durham, Alfred Mothoa to the Knights, as well as Tony de Zorzi moving to the Cape Cobras, the Centurion-based franchise wanted an injection of youth and enthusiasm.
They have acquired the signature of the lively pace bowler Thando Ntini, middle-order batsman Sibonelo Makhanya and Okuhle Cele, who will add pace to the attack.
Thando, the son of former Proteas fast bowler and legend Makhaya Ntini, has made fine progress at the Cape Cobras in the current season, but a move to the faster pitches of Centurion may see him make even greater strides.
Makhanya joins from the Dolphins, with plenty of ability with the bat. Having been in the franchise system for a long time, Makhanya is primed to take on a bigger role in the team with the bat.
Cele, meanwhile, has improved in leaps and bounds with responsibility at the Dolphins, where his slippery bowling has been a handy asset.
The trio joins a well-established core, including Theunis de Bruyn, who will be keen to show national selectors that he still has plenty to offer, after losing his national contract.
Quinton de Kock, Aiden Markram, Faf du Plessis, Lungi Ngidi, Dean Elgar and Tabraiz Shamsi are all nationally contracted, but will add considerable quality when available for domestic cricket.
With the 2019/20 season ended suddenly with the outbreak of Covid-19, the Titans lost the opportunity to finish the campaign with a flourish.
Beyond the global pandemic, they will be eager to get back to winning ways, as they continue to build the core of a new squad to challenge strongly for domestic honours.

I was wondering what his farewells where about initially. Once again not great for the domestic strength but 100 % understand. Unlikely to ever get into the national side again.Dane Piedt confirming he is off to the USA.
All safe here, my life has not changed much from what it was last year. Which is probably more a sad indication of what my life is like than anything else.Hope all my fellow Saffas are safe during the lockdown.
The Cape Cobras were not toxic this past season, but things are happening at this Cape franchise.
Although players like the rest of us are currently restricted to their homes, Newlands boardrooms have now been turned into Skype meetings on cell phones and laptops.
Coach Ashwell Prince's team struggled in the 2019/20 season and ended well below the four-day as well as the one-day competition.
However, Prince was constantly hampered by players called for national commitments.
Pieter Malan, Zubayr Hamza, Janneman Malan, Kyle Verreynne, George Linde, Dane Piedt and Dane Paterson all played for the Proteas this year.
Vernon Philander and David Bedingham signed Kolpak contracts with English counties and Rory Kleinveldt retired this season.
In addition, the Cobras also lost the services of two high-profile Proteas - JP Duminy and Hashim Amla (both retired).
Prince also sometimes struggled to honor the team's transformational targets with probably only Thando Ntini showing up.
It has also been buzzing strongly in the transfer market lately as players move between franchises.
Dane Piedt (America), Ntini and Lizaad Williams (Titans), Tladi Bokako (Lions), Ferisco Adams and Matthew Kleinveldt (Knights) and Mthiwekaya Nabe (Warriors) all lost to the Cobras and found greener pastures.
Exchange
The Cobras' squad for the 2020/21 season is likely to be announced this week.
Four players from the Titans - Tony de Zorzi, Corbin Bosch, Tshepo Moreki and Imran Manack - all swap Centurion for Newlands.
De Zorzi is a top-order batsman, while Bosch and Moreki are fast bowlers.
Bosch is the son of the late Tertius Bosch, who was a Protea fast bowler. Moreki returns to the Cape after playing for the Titans for the past two seasons.
Manack, a breakaway bowler, must fill the void left by the experienced Piedt.
According to the information at Son 's disposal, two young Bolanders, Ismael eel Gafieldien and Ziyaad Abrahams, will also be awarded contracts after good performances for Boland in the last few seasons. The promising Jonathan Bird was offered a rookie contract.
Paterson is reportedly considering other offers, but is likely to continue his career in England.
Dane Paterson was initially due to come over and play club cricket for Elworth CC in the UK prior to getting his Test call-up, was then replaced by Lizaad Williams as the overseas pro. The offers Paterson is looking at in England, would they be from county clubs or league clubs ?Cobras are going to struggle next season. As I said on the previous page about the issues there. Dane Paterson is looking at other offers in England. Not sure how so late in the day.
Cobras getting 4 players from Titans, Savage from Dolphins, 2 from Boland (who are they ? lol) and Jono Bird gets a rookie out of school. Would imagine Tayo Walbrugh should also get as he looked decent in those last few MODC games.
I'm mixed about this re: Prince. I would rather keep him but he does need to drop his stubbornness at times. I think he coaches in the only manner he knows and basically mirroring his playing career. Hard work and fighting for everything. Some players might not take to this way of coaching. I'm all for it but professional sportsmen these days can be too soft.I heard Prince may also move on.
I'm not sure Paterson would leave professional cricket for club cricket. So he must have something lined up with a county.Dane Paterson was initially due to come over and play club cricket for Elworth CC in the UK prior to getting his Test call-up, was then replaced by Lizaad Williams as the overseas pro.
