That was Bevan 97 Ashes level stuff from Rahane there. I hope he isn’t hurt from the couple of knocks he took

wagners celebrations are so gorgeously obnoxious

are people gonna call him a **** too for the send off?
Course not. Fast bowlers deserve and should always get latitude with that sort of thing. It’s an aggressive past time.

As much as Jofra Archer likes to talk himself up he wasn't able to dismiss Smith. Not at all. Not once.

By the end of the series there was no question Smith had Archer's measure

Been a really good Test match though.

Now they'll probably run through us in a hurry.

That's the big one. If Pujara had ground out a 70 (250) tomorrow, with some quick 30s - 40s from 6-7-8, would have been a challenging target.

this one will be over tomorrow

nervous about chasing anything over 100 tbh. the deck isn't evil but a world class attack will make life miserable if they pitch it up.

Late comment but wow that was a painful innings by Rahane.

Actually youre right but he figured archer out very quickly. And might have solved wagner too if the series had been longer.
Mm, Smith's issue against Wagner was that he just could not get him away without taking risks, so scored super super slowly. Archer gave him constant run-scoring opportunities in between the short stuff, so never really tied him down like Wagner did.
